Everything a good server host should be

The boring, important parts — provisioning, backups, updates, monitoring — done for you, so you can just play.

Deploy in a minute

Pick a region, pick a plan, name your world. We provision the VM, install the server, and hand you a connect address — no config files, no port forwarding.

Idle worlds cost pennies

Hourly billing plus one-tap Stop means a world you're not playing barely costs a thing. Press Start when the crew is back and it warms up in seconds.

A live world dashboard

Players online, CPU, memory, uptime, and update status — the same signals the host node reports, surfaced in a clean panel that refreshes on its own.

Private by default

Every world is locked behind a password you choose and an owner only you control. Your map is yours and your friends'.

Low latency, worldwide

Global points of presence let every group play close to home. Pick the region nearest you and keep pings tight.

Backups & auto-updates

Hourly backups and controlled update windows run in the background, so your world stays safe and current without you babysitting it.

How it works

Four steps from empty to exploring — and one small habit that keeps your world nearly free when nobody's playing.

  1. Pick region & plan

Choose the point of presence closest to your group and the size that fits your crew.

  2. Name your world

Set a world name, a private password, and the owner. Hit deploy.

  3. Watch it warm up

We provision, install, and boot the server. In about a minute it reports Online.

  4. Share & play

Copy the connect address, hand it to your friends with the password, and jump in.

Press Start before your friends join

A survival world only shows up in the in-game browser while its server is actually running — there's no wake-on-join. So when a world is idle to save you money, the host taps Start and waits a few seconds through a warm-up state. Once it's Online, everyone can connect. Stop it again when you log off and the meter stops too.

Simple, hourly pricing

Pay by the hour, capped at the monthly price. An idle, stopped world costs nothing.

Questions, answered

What is WyrmHost?

WyrmHost is private hosting for fantasy co-op survival worlds. Pick a region and a plan, click deploy, and in about a minute you get a dedicated world server your friends can join with an address and a world password.

Why do I have to press “Start” before my friends can join?

A world only appears to players while its server process is actually running. When a world is idle it releases its online session and vanishes from the in-game browser — there is no wake-on-join. So the host presses Start, waits through a short warm-up, and then shares the address. This is what lets idle worlds cost you almost nothing.

How does billing work?

Every plan is billed by the hour, so an idle world is cheap to keep around. Stop it when your group logs off and you only pay for the hours it actually ran. Monthly prices shown are the cap for a world left online 24/7.

How many people can play together?

Each plan sets a comfortable player cap — from 4 on Hearth up to 16 on Stronghold. You can resize a world's plan later as your group grows.
